Bodies of Manang Air Chopper accident victims brought to Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: The bodies of all six people who lost their lives in the Manang Air helicopter crash have been brought to Kathmandu on Tuesday evening.

The bodies of five Mexican tourists and pilot Chet Gurung have been brought to Kathmandu for post-mortem.

All the bodies will be kept for post-mortem at the TU Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj.

The helicopter which took off from Surke helipad in Solukhumbu at 10:05 am crashed 8 minutes later at Lamjura Pass on the border of Likhupike Rural Municipality-5 and Dudhkunda Rural Municipality-2 near Mt Everest on Tuesday morning.
