Govt did nothing remarkable in seven months: KP Oli

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has claimed that the government has not done anything remarkable in seven months.

Accusing Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ of telling lies in order to put a veil in the eyes of the people, the UML chair said that he (PM) did nothing remarkable.

“Seven months are over. What has this government done? It deceives, and just works for stunt,” he said, adding, “The government can not do anything good because is meant to favor the feuds, not the people.”

The former Prime Minister expressed his dissatisfaction at the Home Minister’s accusation that UML obstruction delayed the bill against loan-sharking.

“The government has delayed the bill itself, why did it not table the bill before? Had it been serious about the concerns of loansharking, the bill against loan-sharking would have been tabled long before,” Chairman Oli said.
