KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has hosted a cultural reception in honor of the members of the House of Representatives and National Assembly.
At the reception hosted at the President Building, Sheetal Niwas, on Saturday, artists from the Armed Police Force performed dances reflecting the cultures and traditions of different ethnic groups and communities.
Also present on the occasion were Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, acting Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki, HoR Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, former Prime Minister duo KP Sharma Oli and Madhav Kumar Nepal, ministers, parliamentarians, chiefs and representatives of constitutional bodies and security agencies as well as other high-ranking officials.
