GORKHA: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Infrastructures and Transport, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, has said Gorkha would be developed as a model district of prosperity.
Addressing the 11th Gorkha Festival and Province-Level Agriculture, Tourism and Industrial Trade Fair-2079 than began at the district headquarters on Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha expressed commitment to forwarding the activities of development construction in the district as per expectation of Gorkha folks.
DPM Shrestha, who arrived in Gorkha with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, shared, “Prime Minister Dahal has already directed me to carryout activities fulfilling the commitment made before the people during election. The development construction related activities of Gorkha will now move ahead accordingly.”
Different types of fair and festivals will make significant contributions to make country’s economic condition further dynamic, he expressed the belief that the industrial trade fair would help in economic development of Gorkha.
