Humla to organize Football championship

HUMLA: The first edition of the Humla Gold Cup is taking place in mountainous district Humla on April 28.

Organized by the Humla Football Academy, the yearly tournament with the largest prize pool for the district can be participated by teams from all seven rural municipalities and active clubs registered within the district, said the Academy Chairperson Bishnu Raut.

Winner will receive Rs 150,000 in cash and trophies, first runner-up Rs 100,000 and trophies, and second runner-up Rs 75,000 and trophies.

The man of the match will be announced for each match, he said.
