Government lacks focus on development agenda: KP Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has accused the government of neglecting crucial development initiatives.

During an interaction program in Nuwakot on Sunday, as part of the Jhulaghat-Chiwabhanjang campaign, Chairman Oli criticized the government for its failure to prioritize essential development projects concerning the people.

He pointed out that although several development initiatives were initiated under the UML-led government, the current administration has not effectively pursued these agendas. Oli highlighted delays in projects like the Tokha Chhahare Tunnel and discussions on railways.

“The natural consequence of the UML not being in power is the hindrance in the development agenda,” remarked the UML Chairman. He further added, “The government seems incapable of maximizing resources like the international airport in Pokhara.”

Expressing his viewpoint, Oli emphasized the importance of accepting aid or donations from neighboring countries if they are in the best interest of the nation.
