KATHMANDU: Tara Air’s aircraft, which took off from Kathmandu carrying cargo for Solukhumbu, experienced an open door mid-flight.
The incident occurred on Sunday when the cargo planes took off from Kathmandu.
The windowpanes on the emergency door on the right side of the plane dropped off during the flight of the aircraft of 9N-LOJ flight. It remains unclear where the window was lost from.
Only three members of the flight crew were aboard the aircraft. Following the incident, Tara Air has stated that the aircraft will return to Kathmandu only after maintenance.
