KATHMANDU: Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, previously admitted to the Gangalal National Heart Center due to a heart issue, has been discharged from the hospital following a successful angioplasty surgery.
Angioplasty is a medical procedure performed to open narrowed or blocked blood vessels, commonly addressing atherosclerosis.
Atherosclerosis involves the accumulation of fatty deposits (plaque) on the inner walls of arteries, leading to their narrowing and restricting blood flow.
Minister Shrestha’s health is reported to be stable and normal post-surgery.
