Bagmati province assembly session to prorogue on Tuesday midnight



MAKAWANPUR: The ongoing session of the Bagmati Province Assembly has come to an end.

Bagmati Province Chief Yadab Chandra Sharma has, in accordance with Article 183(2) of the Constitution, prorogued the 12th session of the Province Assembly. He prorogued the session as per the recommendation of the Province Council of Ministers.

Spokesperson of Province Chief Secretariat, Govinda Prasad Poudel said Province Chief Sharma ended the Province Assembly session after duly completing the constitutional process.

The first meeting of the Bagmati Province Assembly took place in 2 January 2023.
