3 killed, 5 injured in Rasuwa truck accident



RASUWA: Three people were killed in a mini truck accident in Rasuwa’s Amachhodingmo rural municipality-2, last evening.

Five others were injured in the accident.

According to Subash Budhathoki, Chief of District Police Office Rasuwa, 32-year-old Akkal Bahadur Tamang, 30-year-old Phurpu Chhewang Tamang, and 39-year-old Pemba Dolma Tamang of Amachhodingmo-2 died in the accident.

The police said that the truck carrying potatoes from Nesing to Gregaon fell about 200 meters from the road.

Five people were injured in the accident, and they have been taken to the district hospital for treatment.
