Simrik Air helicopter flights suspended



KATHMANDU: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has banned all helicopter flights of Simrik Air.

After repeated requests to the company to pay the dues, the Authority has stopped all helicopter flights since Friday.

According to CAAN, Simrik has yet to pay 4.6 million rupees for the airport service fee.

Gyanendra Bhul, information officer of the Authority, informed that all flights of Simrik Air have been suspended with effect from Friday as per the provisions of the Airport Service Fee Regulations 2078.

Simrik is currently flying with 4 helicopters.
