Woman arrested with 28 tolas of gold in Pokhara



POKHARA: Authorities have taken a woman into custody after she was found in possession of 28 tolas of gold in Pokhara.

According to DSP Bedh Prakash Joshi of Baidam, Kalpana Gurung, aged 45, was apprehended by the police at Pokhara Bus Park on Thursday morning.

Gurung, originally from Birtamode, Jhapa, and currently residing in Jorpati, Kathmandu, was arrested based on credible “special information” indicating her possession of a significant amount of gold.

The police team acted swiftly on this intelligence, resulting in the arrest of the aforementioned individual.
