Lawmaker Arju Rana lodges complaint at Cyber Bureau



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader and Member of Parliament Arju Rana Deuba lodged an application with the Cyber Bureau complaining defamation.

Rana filed a complaint with the Cyber Bureau on Wednesday demanding to find out the authenticity of the audio of the conversation regarding her involvement in the fake Bhutanese refugee scam.

She claimed that the audio published in some media and social networks is false.

“I want strict action after thorough investigation on the audio released with fake voice. The ill-intent defaming audio linking my name to the fake Bhutanese refugee scam should be investigated and the guilty should be booked by law,” Rana said in her complaint.
