Top Bahadur writes to Parliament Secretariat seeking sick leave



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Secretary Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, in a police-hunt for his alleged involvement in the fake Bhutanese refugee scam, has sent a letter to the Federal Parliament Secretariat asking for sick leave.

He sent a letter saying that he is sick and receiving treatment, according to Parliament Secretariat sources.

Rayamajhi has been absconding after the arrest warrant was issued against him.

UML has already suspended him from the post of party secretary. It also asked him to appear before the relevant authorities and assist in the investigation.
