UML suspends Secretary Top Bahadur Rayamajhi



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML has suspended Secretary Top Bahadur Rayamajhi for his alleged involvement in the case related to fake Bhutanese refugees.

Issuing a press statement on Wednesday, UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel informed that Rayamajhi has been suspended until the investigation and legal action process are finalized.

The police have issued an arrest warrant against Rayamajhi. He is absconding. His son Sandeep has been arrested by the police.

The UML secretariat meeting held on Tuesday decided to ask Top Bahadur to help in the investigation.
