Power supply to 3,200 HHs from central power grid availed Kavre folks



KAVRE: As many as 3,200 households in Mahabharat Rural Municipality in Kavre district have been provided with the power supply from the central transmission grid starting Tuesday.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ inaugurated the electrification drive in all households of the rural municipality run under the government’s Ujyalo Initiative Program.

PM Dahal announced to supply power in each house across the country within two years.

Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Kulman Ghising said that Koshi, Bagmati and Lumbini provinces would be announced fully electrified region within some months and added that two provinces are already fully electrified in the country at present.
