‘A’ Division League: Nepal Police gets first win defeating Friends Club by 3-1

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police Club (NPC) has got its first victory in Shaheed Smarak ‘A’ Division League on Monday.

NPC defeated Friends Club by 3-1 in the match held today at the ANFA complex in Satdobato.

Moses and Buddha Bal Tamang scored the first two goals for the Police. To counter NPC, Toric Zebrin scored one goal for Friends.

In the 51st minute of the game, Moses’ goal gave the Police the lead.  Buddha doubled the lead of the police in the 58th minute.

In the 87th minute, Toric scored for Friends to make it 2-1. Buddha scored the third goal for Nepal Police in the 90th minute to make the score 3-1 again.

The match between Church Boys and APF ended in a goalless draw at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar.
