High-level mechanism urges RSP to rejoin government

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the high-level political mechanism led by CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli today urged Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) to rejoin the government.

A leader who participated in today’s meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar, said that the leaders at the meeting urged RSP to join the government.

However, Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of RSP, did not give a word about joining the government.

RSP left the government last week after PM Dahal did not agree to give the Ministry of Home Affairs to the party.

Friday’s meeting was participated by Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, UML Chairman KP Oli, RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden, among others.
