Gandaki CM Adhikari to take vote of confidence on Jan 13



POKHARA: The newly-appointed Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Khagaraj Adhikari, is taking the vote of confidence on January 13.

CPN-UML leader Khagaraj Adhikari was appointed Chief Minister on Monday with the support of 33 lawmakers including CPN-UML, Maoist Center, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, and independent candidate Rajiv Gurung ‘Deepak Manange’.

Gandaki Province Assembly has 60 seats and the Chief Minister needs 31 seats to achieve majority.
