Unified Socialist to give vote of confidence to PM Dahal



KATHMANDU: The Unified Socialist Party has decided to give a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”.

Party Spokesperson Jagannath Khatiwada said that a meeting of the party’s Secretariat held on Tuesday morning decided to give a “conditional” vote of confidence to Prime Minister Prachanda.

“The Secretariat meeting has decided to give a vote of confidence to the government led by Prachanda,” he said.

The party said it would withdraw its decision if the government did not meet its conditions.

The party has 10 parliamentarians in the House of Representatives.

Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to take a vote of confidence from the House of Representatives at 11 am today.
