To decide whether or not to give the vote of confidence to Prachanda

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a meeting of its Parliamentary Party today (Tuesday).

The meeting will decide whether or not to give a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

In the 275-member House of Representatives, it has become almost sure that 169 parliamentarians would give the vote of confidence to Prachanda’s government.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Prachanda reached Dhumbarahi to meet Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Monday seeking the latter’s support.

It has been learned that PM Prachanda returned with NC President Deuba’s positive assurance.
