Karnali Province Assembly to elect Speaker on Jan 15



KARNALI: The Karnali Province Assembly is to elect a new Speaker on January 15.

The eldest member of the Assembly has fixed the date for electing the Speaker on January 15.

The date was determined as per Rule 7 (1) of Karnali Province Assembly Regulation, 2079.

With the election schedule in place, Province Assembly Secretary Jibraj Budhathoki will initiate the process for the election.

The election will be held at 11:00 am on January 15, according to Budhathoki.
