KATHMANDU: Visiting Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party of the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Junzheng, is holding a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda today.
Wang arrived in Nepal on a five-day visit Wednesday leading a high-level delegation.
On Wednesday itself, Wang paid a courtesy call on Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav at the latter’s office.
During the meeting held at the Vice President’s office in Lainchaur, various dimensions of Nepal-China relations were discussed.
Last month, during Prime Minister Dahal’s visit to China, Wang extended a reception to the Nepalese leader in Tibet.
The visit included discussions on various bilateral issues of mutual interest.
In light of the cordial exchange, Prime Minister Dahal extended an invitation to Wang to visit Nepal.
