Woman mauled to death by a tiger



BARDIYA: A 52-year-old woman has died after being attacked by a tiger while she was collecting green fodder for her cattle in the forest at Dhanura in Madhuban Municipality-3 of Bardiya.

Kali Banshi was cutting grass in the Samjhana community forest when she came under attack by a wild tiger and was killed yesterday, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Hikmat Bahadur Bohara of District Police Office, Bardiya.

The fatal incident took place on international biological route connecting Bardiya National Park to Katarniaghat conservation area of India.
