KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has forecast rainfall in five provinces of the country today.
The Division said provinces, including Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim will witness rainfall today afternoon.
Some parts of Kathmandu are currently witnessing light rainfall.
According to a weather forecast bulletin issued by the Division, several parts of the country are also likely to expect light to moderate rainfall today.
Similarly, tonight, light to moderate rain is expected in several areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with one or two places in the other provinces experiencing the same.
The Division has also issued a warning cautioning that river water levels may rise slightly, and there is a risk of calamities such as landslides, floods, erosion, and other related events.
