Two individuals arrested in connection with Lalita Niwas land grab case

KATHMANDU: Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the Lalita Niwas land grab case.

On Sunday, the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police detained two more suspects.

SSP Dinesh Acharya of the Bureau confirmed the arrests of Lokhari Ghimire, the former head of Samarjung Company, and Dhruba Aryal, the former survey officer.

Their arrest was based on evidence suggesting their involvement in the illegal transfer of Lalita Niwas land, originally owned by the government, to an individual’s name.
