UML obstructs National Assembly meeting

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML disrupted the meeting of the National Assembly (NA) even today.

As soon as the Speaker of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina announced the convening of the meeting, UML’s Bhagwati Neupane said that they would continue to obstruct the meeting until Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda steps down.

She alleged PM Dahal for repeatedly attacking the country’s national independence.

Then Chairman Timilsina then adjourned the meeting until July 10.

He informed that Monday’s meeting would deliberate on the Appropriation Bill 2023/24.
