HoR meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) under the Federal Parliament is taking place today.

The main opposition, CPN-UML, meanwhile, has been obstructing the parliament meeting in protest against a statement made by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ in a program recently.

In today’s meeting to be held at 1 pm at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneswar, a replacement bill related to loan shark is scheduled to be tabled.

Similarly, there is also an agenda to table the bill with the message received from the National Assembly regarding the Nepal University Bill 2080.

In today’s meeting, there is an agenda to request permission to present the Bill, 2080, which is made to amend Some Nepal Acts.

Today, Law Minister Dhanraj Gurung has mentioned in the agenda that he will present a proposal for the amendment of some Nepal Acts related to the Civil Code, 2080, which originated in the National Assembly.
