KATHMANDU: The Nepali team to play the ACC Women’s T-20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup to be held in Hong Kong has been announced.
the Nepali team, which played a series of 5 matches with Malaysia, is going for this tournament to be held from June 12.
According to the Acting Secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) Durgaraj Pathak, preparations are underway to send the Nepali team to Hongkong on Saturday.
Samson Jung Thapa has been designated the responsibility of the team’s coach.
Nepal is in Group A, along with the team with Hong Kong, India, and Pakistan.
Group B comprises Bangladesh, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and Dubai. Nepal will play the first match against Pakistan on June 13 and the second match against India on June 15.
Similarly, Nepal will play agains host Hong Kong on June 17.
The tournament will be held at Hong Kong’s Mission Road ground in Kowloon.
