Officer at Teku Lab arrested with 50,000 bribe



KATHMANDU: Lekhnath Bhattarai, a technician working at the National Public Health Laboratory Teku, has been arrested with bribe money of Rs 50,000 on Friday.

A team of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested Bhattarai from Shankhamul when he was accepting a bribe of 50,000 from a customer.

CIAA sources said that Bhattarai asked for a bribe saying that he would facilitate the registration process for establishing a lab.
