JSP to field Ramsahay Prasad Yadav as Vice President



KATHMANDU: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has decided to field Ramsahay Prasad Yadav as the vice presidential candidate.

Member of Parliament, Pradeep Yadav, informed that the central execution committee meeting of the party held on Thursday decided to make Ramsahay Prasad Yadav the vice presidential candidate.

Ramsahay Prasad Yadav is currently the leader of the parliamentary party of JSP.

The eight-party alliance had earlier decided to make JSP candidate the country’s Vice President.

Meanwhile, Nepali Congress’ senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has been elected as the country’s President on Thursday.

The election of the Vice President will be held on March 17.
