KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) is conducting a hearing on a writ petition filed against Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda today (Thursday).
The preliminary hearing in the writ filed by advocates Gyanendra Raj Aran and Kalyan Budhathoki against Prachanda will be heard today.
Advocates Aran and Budhathoki filed a writ in the Supreme Court earlier this week demanding an order to investigate and prosecute criminal charges against Prachanda regarding the conflict-era case.
It should be recalled that Prachanda had on January 15, 2020, said that he would take responsibility for 5,000 of the people killed during the conflict.
