NC will play constructive role in Parliament: NC Prez Deuba



KATHMANDU: President of Nepali Congress (NC) Sher Bahadur Deuba has urged the parliamentarians to make a special contribution to protecting the Constitution.

Addressing the first meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, Deuba said that the Nepali Congress — the largest party in the parliament — will present itself constructively and will continue to connect with the people’s issues.

Deuba said, “May this tenure of the House of Representatives make a special contribution to the protection, implementation and smoothening of the comprehensive democratic system.”
