LSP’s Mahantha Thakur to decide on vote of confidence



KATHMANDU: The Lokatantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) Nepal has decided to give authority to its party Chairman Mahantha Thakur to decide whether to give vote of confidence to Prime MInister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

The LSP’s executive committee meeting held in party’s central office at Babar Mahal endorsed the amended statute of the parliamentary party in Madhesh Province, informed LSP Nepal’s executive member Keshav Jha.

The meeting also decided to advance expansion of the party organization.

PM Dahal, who was appointed Prime Minister on December 25, is scheduled to undergo floor test in the HoR on January 10.

There are four parliamentarians representing the LSP Nepal elected to the House of Representatives (HoR).
