Chinese Communist Party Secretary for Tibet visits Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: Wang Junzheng, Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party for the Tibet Autonomous Regional Committee, has embarked on a five-day visit to Nepal.

The 12-member delegation, led by Secretary Junzheng, arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport via Sichuan Air at 11:35 am on Wednesday.

The team was welcomed by Urmila Aryal, Vice Chairperson of the National Assembly.

During their visit, the Chinese delegation is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and leaders from various political parties. Additionally, they will travel to Pokhara on Friday, with plans to meet Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey.

After a five-day stay in Nepal, Secretary Wang Junzheng and his team will return to China on Sunday.
