KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), returned from the earthquake-affected areas of Jajarkot and Rukum (West) and conveyed the harsh reality to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

Upon arriving at Baluwatar, he presented the Prime Minister with a comprehensive 14-point plan addressing the management and distribution of relief, as well as the pressing issues faced by the victims, along with additional provisions.

During the discussion, Prime Minister Dahal expressed his gratitude to Chairman Lamichhane for his proactive initiatives and suggestions following his visit to the earthquake-stricken areas.

He assured that the suggestions would be tabled in the upcoming Cabinet meeting, with a commitment to prioritize their implementation.

A source from Baluwatar disclosed that Prime Minister Dahal is particularly concerned about safeguarding people from the chilling temperatures, especially those who were once prepared to employ drastic measures for societal change.
