Tourism organizations donate Rs 40 million to support earthquake victims

KATHMANDU: Tourism organizations have donated Rs 4 crores to support the victims of the Jajarkot earthquake.

Under the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation, several organizations have come together to extend a helping hand to those affected, contributing over Rs 40 million rupees in total.

A delegation led by Tourism Minister Sudan Kirati met with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and donated Rs 40 million rupees to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.

Notably, various entities such as the Civil Aviation Authority, Nepal Airlines Corporation, Nepal Tourism Board, Pashupati Area Development Fund, Nepal Mountaineering Association, and Lumbini Development Fund have also donated Rs 10 million each to the relief fund.
