OSR Digital proprietor Om Prakash Agrawal arrested, remanded in custody for 4 days

KATHMANDU: Om Prakash Agrawal, the owner of OSR Digital Pvt Ltd, was apprehended by Nepal police on Sunday.

He was taken into custody on Friday from Durbar Marga, Kathmandu, following the issuance of a four-day remand by the Kathmandu District Court for investigative purposes.

The arrest comes in response to a complaint lodged by Sudarshan Basnet, the producer of the movie ‘Prasad 2’.

Producer Basnet filed the complaint on September 1, alleging that the movie had been broadcast without his authorization, resulting in a financial loss of NPR 15 million.

Additionally, the police have disclosed that similar charges have been levied against Sudarshan Thapa and Milan Shrestha, both of whom are currently the subjects of a search operation.
