Chinese Ambassador’s statement against diplomatic etiquette: Sonal

KATHMANDU: Loktantrik Samajwadi Party leader Jitendra Sonal has denounced the recent statements made by Chinese Ambassador Chen Song, citing them as a breach of diplomatic etiquette.

He condemned the ambassador’s remarks, characterizing them as potentially abusive in nature.

Sonal called for an immediate request for clarification from Ambassador Song and urged the government to involve the appropriate authorities in facilitating Ambassador Song’s return to the Chinese government.

Ambassador Song had previously voiced concerns about Nepal’s electricity exports to India during a recent event held in the capital, suggesting that Nepal was incurring losses from this trade arrangement.
