Prithvi Highway disrupted in Tanahu



DAMAULI: The Damauli-Dumre section of the Prithvi Highway in Tanahu has been disrupted after the rains led to a cave-in near Chirkane of Byas municipality-12 this afternoon.

The District Police Office, Tanahu said vehicles are stranded due to the disruption of the section of the highway. At the moment only two-wheelers and ambulances are allowed to pass through the highway.

Police personnel at the incident site said it might take some time to restore the Highway. The Tanahu Police has urged the use of an alternative route for the movement of heavy vehicles.
