Nepal sees two new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases five



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded two new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

The confirmed cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 224 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

All the cases were tested through RT-PCR method today.

Currently, there are five active cases in the country as one infected patient recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
