Passport distribution service resumes, DoP notifies to collect passport

KATHMANDU: The Department of Passport (DoP) has asked the beneficiaries in queue to receive passports to contact the Department as the passport distribution service has resumed.

Issuing a press statement on Sunday, the Department notified all passport seekers that the technical issues relating the passport distribution has been resolved.

The DoP spokesperson Durpada Sapkota informed that the beneficiaries can go the Department for passport collection once they received the message in their mail or mobile.

The distribution of passports was stopped from January 1 due to a problem with the Department’s server.
