KATHMANDU: Ruling coalition partners have intensified meetings to sort out thorny issues, including the formation of provincial governments.

Top leaders of the ruling partners are meeting today as well to finalize the seats in the provinces.

On Saturday, a task force formed to draft the Common Minimum Program (CMP) submitted the report to the top party leaders.

The parties in under pressure to appoint Chief Minister if Province-1 by Sunday evening.

According to RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden, the ruling alliance to be held today will discuss issues, including the power-sharing in the provinces and the vote of confidence to be taken by the government.

While the CPN-UML is confident about getting the Chief Minister in Province 1 and Gandaki Province, the Maoist Center has been demanding Chief Ministers in Karnali and Sudurpaschim Province.

The Janamat Party and Janata Samajwadi Party have bene demanding that they should get the post of Chief Minister in Madhesh Pradesh.
