Partial influence of westerly wind impacting Nepal’s weather

KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of the westerly wind in Nepal.

A low-pressure area situated in the northern part of Telangana and the southern part of Chhattisgarh in India is contributing to the current weather conditions.

As of now, there is a partial to normal change in Koshi Province, Madhesh, and Bagmati Province, along with the hilly areas of the country.

According to the Division’s forecast, this afternoon, Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces will experience clear weather, with partial to normal showers anticipated.

Moreover, there is a possibility of light rain in certain areas of the Koshi region and snowfall in a few high hills and Himalayan areas.

The influence of the western wind may lead to a drop in temperatures across the country, the Division said.

In light of this, the Division has urgesd people to take necessary precautions to mitigate the potential effects of the changing weather conditions.
