BAJURA: An earthquake with its epicenter in Bajura rattled the region on Tuesday.

The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center reported a magnitude 4 earthquake at 12:58 PM.

Following the powerful earthquake that shook Jajarkot last Friday, the area has been experiencing a series of seismic events, resulting in 153 casualties and significant damage to many homes.

In contrast, Bajura witnessed its first earthquake since June 12, when a 4.4 magnitude earthquake occurred. However, the center’s data indicates that various districts in the Far West, including Bajhang, have also experienced earthquakes during this period.
