Two killed in Baglung road accident



BAGLUNG: Two people died in a taxi accident in Baglung.

The incident, as reported by the district police office, Baglung, occurred last night at Dhorpatan-2 Malkatibang on Madhyapahari Lokmarg, when a taxi (Dh 1 Ja 994) was en route from Badigad to Dhorpatan in the district.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Madan KC stated that the victims have been identified as Hom Bahadur Pun, 28, from Dhorpatan Municipality-2 Pakhute and Aswin Pariyar, 32, from Badigad-6 Chisafant.

Both individuals succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the accident.

According to the police, the taxi veered off the road and plunged approximately 100 meters down the hill.
