Police nab truck driver with 124 kgs marijuana

JANAKPURDHAM: Madhes Police has arrested one person with 124 kg of marijuana from Laxminia Chowk located in Laxminia Rural Municipality of Dhanusha.

According to Madhes Province Police Office, a truck driver was arrested with marijuana by the joint team of Provincial Police and District Police Office Dhanusha during an inspection at Laxminia Chowk of Janakpur Dhalkewar road section under the East-West National Highway from Makwanpur.

Janak Bhattarai, Chief of Madhes Police Office, has informed that the truck driver Santaveer Dong of Makwanpur-8, Manhari, was arrested along with the marijuana.
