Tikapur literature festival to begin on Saturday



TIKAPUR: The Tikapur Literature Festival is starting from Saturday, the first of such literary event in the city of Kailali district.

The event is being organised by Tikapur Literary Society. The festival to be held for three days is scheduled to discuss arts, literature, development, social and political issues in 20 different sessions.

Chairman of the Society, Mahesh Bikram Shah, said that panelists and moderators for the sessions have been finalised. Writer and analyst CK Lal is scheduled to deliver his keynote speech on ‘Social Harmony’ in the inaugural session.

The organiser said that three different prizes including ‘Khadka Memorial Rastriya Gaurab Puraskar’ and ‘Tikapur Sahitya Samaj Prativa Puraskar’.
