Nepal records one COVID related death, three new cases in 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded one coronavirus related death and a total of three new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday.

All the three confirmed cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 555 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

All the 555 cases were tested through RT-PCR method.

Currently, there are 21 active cases in the country as two infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

One coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
