NEPSE sees modest single-digit increase on Wednesday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) marked a nominal growth of 3.3 points on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

The stock market in a continuous downtrend before closed with a positive note of nominal growth of 3.3 points and concluding at 1841.04 points.

Trading activity amounted to 1,140,432,790 rupees, involving the buying and selling of 3,750,895 shares across 34,931 transactions involving 293 companies.

Among these, 121 companies observed an increase in their share prices, while the share prices of 106 companies decreased, and the share prices of 13 companies remained unchanged.
